I’m super excited to begin offering a new Saturday class for those interested in a hybrid strength and movement class. My mental state has really benefitted from staying physically active during this hell time, but I also recognize fitness has to look a little different these days (TBH getting out of bed in the morning should be considered cardio in 2020). I have also long been super put off by the toxicity and aggressively cis-heteronormative attitudes and aesthetics that dominate fitness culture. This class offering will combine Combining pilates mat, yoga and strength training with non-traditional functional movement and breath work. I am interested in how we can create a better class structure; one that is body positive and queer affirming; idealistic not coercive.
Class is 50 minutes with time after for questions and chit chat (Ya’ll know I love a discourse). I am not an influencer or lifestyle guru – Just a good witch who’s been teaching for a while and has a few tricks up their sleeve.
Class is donation based ($10-$25 depending on what you can realistically swing financially). No one will be turned away because of lack of funds (really)
